Demonstration of Forced Harmonic Motion

Set the spring constant to 12.8. Click on the Reset button. Observe that the tidal frequency is 2.00 i.e. the standing-wave can move at exactly the same speed as the tidal surge. Click on the Start button. The blue trace moves over an increasingly large range and after a short while the model informs us that a "Resonance disaster" has happened!
