Quick Sharing via a URL, or Group Sharing Collaboration with Access Control

With DriveHQ service, sharing files is very easy. What differentiate us from our competitors (such as Dropbox) are the fine granular access control (based on ACL) and other business features. You can share a folder to non-DriveHQ members using their email addresses, you can share a folder to DriveHQ members and set a permission level, you can also share a folder to sub-users, sub-groups or contact groups with a specific permission. You can set a share expiration date, and you can set automatic share change notification.

Easy steps to share files / folders
Just select a folder and click on the Share button, shared folders will appear in recipient(s)' "DriveHQ Share" virtual folder instantly; you can also send a Share Notification email to the recipient(s) if the recipient(s) is not a DriveHQ member.

Multiple access levels for different users (or groups) and different shared folders
Preview Only, Read/Download Original Files, Upload/Add, and Full Access. In addition, you can let others to comment and rate your files/folders. For advanced users, business owners or IT managers, you can also upgrade to a group account (for free), create / manage sub-users, and then share different folders to different sub-users, sub-groups and contact groups. When a sub-user logs on, he/she can only see folders shared to him/her.

Share not only files, but also folders and space
By sharing folders, you enable two-way sharing and group collaboration. Not only the other users can download files from your shared folders, they can also upload / edit / delete files in the folders you shared as long as you set the right permission.

A common space, i.e. a Remote File Server for groups to share and collaborate files and folders
No matter where everyone lives, group members can share one folder and everyone can download / upload / modify files in the same folder. Just like your local file server, you can set different permissions to different folders; you can create different sub-users with different roles; you can access your "Remote File Server" from anywhere; you can even share files / folders with your remote clients. No expensive and complicated VPN systems are required!

Unlike Dropbox, folders shared to you don't use your storage space.
If another user shared a folder to you, and you access the shared folder from your account, it does not use your account storage space. If you share a 10GB folder to 20 users, the 20 users don't need any storage space to access your files. If you do the same with Dropbox, Dropbox requires each user to have 10GB free storage space. You might be unconsciously forcing your customers or friends to pay to Dropbox.
