model was the Revell 1926 customized Ford T Sedan Delivery. I liked the model but not the customized version so I decided to undo the changes. The body was lowered so I added some plastic to the underside to bring it back to normal height. The rear of the body had wheel arches to fit the wide custom tires and those were filled with plastic too. I could not use the chassis so I took a dive in the spare parts and found a 1927 chassis (from an old AMT kit) which fitted very nice. The wheels are from a 1929 Revell Woody and I still don't like them. They are a bit too small in my opinion. I have some larger spare wheels an tires and I'm going to use them to see if these look better. Stay tuned for updates... |
