I bought this ready build car a few years ago, I
guess you could call it a grocery truck. It's based on the 1915
Stutz Bearcat model made by MPC. The rear wood section was nicely
build. The original builder lengthened the chassis in the middle
with about an inch and added an extra support from about an inch
long to the rear of the chassis to support the long cargo section.
Unfortunately he also decided to paint the fenders, dashboard and
all gauges, steering wheel, headlamps and handbrake with a rather
liberate amount of flat black.
Parts were missing and broken and the car had no engine, spare wheel
or exhaust.
Here is a picture of what I got:

My first idea was to
use the rear section for a new Ford Model T project, but by a stroke
of luck I discovered another build Stutz on eBay a few weeks later.
It did only cost a few dollars, so I decided to use the parts of
that car to restore the Stutz fruit wagon.
Here is a picture of the installed engine and the restored dashboard
with scratchbuild replacement pedals and woodgrain decal:

Fenders and
chassis were re-painted in semigloss black and the wheels,
toolboxes, engine hood and radiator received a paint job with Tamiya
TS-15 blue. I also made some new brushed silver decals to add some
detail to the engine hood and toolboxes.
The fruit/grocery section was restored using spare diorama parts
like some Coca Cola trays and a few flower trays I made from HO
scale bushes.
