Hi. I just signed up to review DriveHQ as a potential ftp service for our company. I setup the account, create 2 folders and then shared them - one by checking "My Group" and the other by listing my user name and email address explicitly. Both share links allow me to see the contents of the folder via web browser. Using my credentials I can log in via FTP and see the folders and upload to them. But when I login anonymously and then go to the foler "/808multimedia" (which I can get into anonymously), there are no shared folder visible. Is there a propogation time on creating shares or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Subject: Re: Shares not visible by anonymous ftp

It seems you are confused about Share and Publish. A Shared folder is only accessible to users in the share-to list.

If you want to make a folder accessible by anybody (anonymous user), then you need to publish a folder instead of share.

A published folder (and files in it) is accessible as via the HTTP publish URL(s). It can also be accessed as FTP URL:

ftp://ftp.drivehq.com/USERNAME/PUBLISHNAME

No logon is required.
