I am trying to find out what backups DriveHQ keeps of files we upload. Do you keep the usual daily, weekly, monthly? Are there off-site backups?

I ask this because our current backup provider lost all of our data through a server crash, and the ONE backup was also corrupted!!!

I emailed support on this but did not receive a reply - and when activating this forum account I could also not get a reply on the usual email address...strange?

The safety of our Customers' data is vitally important to us. DriveHQ makes all efforts to make our system highly available, reliable and secure.

We have multi-level of system redundancy, any disk crash will have zero impact to our servers; any system failure can be automatically switched to the stand-by servers. We also backup our data incrementally at all times up to the last minute. For more info, please read: http://www.drivehq.com/about/facility.aspx

Unless there is a major disaster destroys Hurricane Electric facility, data loss on DriveHQ system is almost impossible. This being said, we always recommend to have local backups as well. If you have local backup and offsite backup, then a major disaster that happens to both DriveHQ and your company is virtually impossible.

DriveHQ is one of the largest online backup, storage & sharing, FTP hosting service providers. Our business strategy is to create the best products, features and services, create long-term value for our customers, not offering free / cheap services that will shut-down in a couple years.
