DriveHQ has added "Zip Download" feature to DriveHQ.com web-based service. Users can download multiple files and folders at once using a regular web browser. No software / ActiveX / Plug-in is required.

"Zip Download" feature is available to premium users only. To access the feature, please logon www.drivehq.com, go to My Storage. you can see the "Zip Download" button in the toolbar. Please see the screenshot:

Users can simply select multiple folders and files, then click on Zip Download.

Previously, "downloading multiple folders and files at once" is not supported using a web browser. "Downloading multiple files / folders" is supported using DriveHQ FileManager client software or any 3rd party FTP Client software. Windows Explorer can be used as a simple FTP Client. Just enter the following address:

ftp://USERNAME:PASSWORD@ftp.drivehq.com/

DriveHQ FileManager or DriveHQ FTP is still recommended if you need to download a lot of files / folders. FileManager and FTP are more reliable and scalable. "Zip Download" is convenient if the user doesn't have DriveHQ FileManager or FTP installed on the computer.
